Fitters Mate

Mission Resourcing are seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors, roller shutters, and loading bay equipment. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in a technical, field-based position with opportunities for training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead engineers in the installation, servicing, and repair of industrial doors and related equipment.
• Handle power tools and mechanical components safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure doors and shutters operate smoothly.
• Work on-site at various locations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Some experience in mechanical fitting, construction, or engineering is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the industry.
• A valid CSCS card (Essential)
• Full UK driving license is desirable.
• Comfortable with working at heights and manual labour.
