YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
- To ensure that the highest standards of food and beverage and hospitality are demonstrated at all times
- Assist with receiving and storage of goods
- Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards and practices
- Assists with the preparation of a food and beverage outlet for service including:
- Cleaning of equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining glassware and china for service
- Preparation of tables
- Serving of beverages
- Recording of replacement stock
- Billing procedures of items consumed in line with hotel policy
- Ordering and storage of minibar items
- Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
- Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
- Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards
- Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
- Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
- Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers
- Be able to promote the hotel products and services
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety
- Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- 1 year previous experience of a similar role within a Hotel environment
- Strong communication skills
