We are working with a prestigious private school in Warwickshire who are looking to expand their Hospitality and Events Team. They offer year round internal and external events, ranging from small sandwich lunches to large Fine dinning sit down meals. The Sous Chef will work solely on Events.
The Sous Chef will have a flexible rota working to the needs of the Business. The contract is for 40 hours, 5 days out of 7 with time in lieu or overtime paid in the busier periods. You will work under the Head Chef and 2 lead 2 x CDP's in the team.
The Sous Chef must be able to work well in a team, be good at man management and be a calm under pressure. You will work closely with the Head chef to deliver year round events. You will need to be personable and presentable as their will be some client interaction and support with tastings. You will have a background in Corporate catering, events or hospitality.
This Sous Chef role would suit a Chef with Restaurant experience cooking to a high level, some events experience would be preferred as well.
