We are currently recruiting for a brand-new HR Assistant vacancy, to work in the London office of a highly regarded US law firm. This position will initially be offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis and is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual keen to build a career within Human Resources. HR Assistant will be responsible for a range of HR generalist tasks including: Managing recruitment and tracking new hires. Assisting with onboarding and offboarding. Responding to employee queries and flagging ER issues to the HR Coordinator. Assisting with HR documents for maternity, paternity, and contract changes. Tracking absences and arranging cover if needed. Assisting with payroll and benefits administration. Perform other HR and office project tasks as required. A salary of up to £35,000 will be on offer, and hybrid working arrangements. Suitable applicants will be degree-educated, self-motivated and possess excellent organisation & communication skills. Previous experience of working in an HR administrative position and/or working towards CIPD qualification would also be desirable.
