Shape the Interface to the Future of Autonomous Defence
Join one of the UK’s most ambitious AI-defence startups, backed by top-tier investors and moving fast. They are building intelligent systems that operate in high-stakes environments and looking for an founding level engineer to craft the interface through which humans will guide, trust, and collaborate with these machines.
What will I do?
You’ll own the design and development of the core frontend platform – the window into their technology. This means building responsive, intuitive UIs that distil complex data into insight, enable precision control of autonomous systems, and deliver situational awareness in real time. You’ll work directly with users (from engineers to field operators) and collaborate daily with top minds in AI, robotics, and systems engineering. You will define the technology stack for the frontend team, looking to grow to 5 engineers by end of 2025.
What They’re Looking For:
- Deep frontend engineering experience using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar). Comfort designing frontend architectures in greenfield environments
- A CS or technical background – you understand what’s happening under the hood
- Bonus: experience with 3D/mapping libraries (Mapbox, Cesium, WebGL) or backend work in Rust, Python, or C++
