Role: CNC Service Engineer Location: Sheffield (West / South Yorkshire) Salary – up to £40,000 DOE We are recruiting a CNC Service Engineer to join our client in this exciting opportunity. They are expert leaders in supplying CNC machine tools covering many sectors such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Automotive and more. Been a customer centric organisation they ensure that all requirements are always met as their number one priority. Working within two facilities in Yorkshire and the Midlands they ensure that no location is off limits! The Role We are looking for a strong background in service engineering with a mechanical background, machine tool products and operational minded. The role will consist of working around the rejoin of West / South Yorkshire Derby and the Midlands supporting all aspects of the role. Main Duties Servicing and maintaining our ranges of Machine Tool products Attending faults, diagnosing problems, and rectifying machines. Replacing parts, as necessary Liaising with Technical support, Service Management and Customer Services Undertaking planned maintenance of machines Identifying parts required and order via Service/Spares department Explaining machine faults, findings and repairs undertaken to customers Good understanding of the needs of our customers Providing great customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction/ feedback Identify sales opportunities and pass these onto the Sales department The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will possess a blend of Mechanical and Service expertise (Ideally 5 years+), creative problem-solving skills, analytical minded and a collaborative spirit. A commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and a proactive approach to challenges are essential for success in this role. Furthermore we are looking for someone who displays: Mechanical engineering apprentice trained.
