We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic and forward thinking Occupational Therapist to contribute to our friendly and well structured team. Experience of managing an acute clinical caseload would be essential for this role, however clinical experience in orthopaedics is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
You will have excellent communication skills as well as strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring effective delivery of the service across our busy elective and trauma wards; with an emphasis on helping to support and develop junior and support staff within the team – also deputising for Team Lead as required. Evidence of developing clinical services and staff is essential.
There will be a commitment to weekend working in the occupational therapy team at RIE as part of the 5 over 7 day working pattern.
