What skills and experience we\’re looking for
We are looking to recruit a Lunchtime Supervisors atHady Primary School. As part of the team, you will be responsible for providingsupervision for students at lunchtime and providing assistance and informationas required.
The successful applicants will need to have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well underpressure in a busy school environment.
We are looking for:

• Someone who can provide a professional lunchtimesupervisor role to students
• Someone who can provide assistance to staff andstudents
• Someone who is an excellent role model
• Someone who has a good understanding andexperience of the job requirements.

The working requirement is 1.25 hours per day Monday toFriday, term time only.
Specificduties and responsibilities

• Supervision of students immediately before,during and after the midday meal. This included provision for children whobring sandwiches.
• Supervision of the student\’s entry into thedining areas.
• Supervision of students in the dining hall.
• Guidanceon table manners.
• Assistancewith clearing tables and returning trays to collection points.
• Assistantwith washing down tables and resetting where required and when school mealsstaff are not available.
• Takingsuch steps as necessary when children are sick. Assisting to their needs whenin distress and reporting the situation to a teacher.
• Toarrange for emergency treatment when required, e.g. calling for a teacher ifthere has been an accident.
• Vigilantin the playground in recognising potential dangers and approaching unauthorisedpersonnel who enter the school.
