The Role: They’re hiring a brand-new Sales Manager to oversee and expand business across the South of the UK (from the M4 Corridor down to the South Coast). You’ll also manage, coach, and develop a Business Development Manager who reports directly to you. With a recent acquisition by a major food group, this business is now better positioned than ever to make a significant impact on the market. As Sales Manager, you’ll hold full commercial responsibility for key wholesalers in the region, as well as major end users. Your mission? Report to the Founder, drive volume growth and lead the Southern sales strategy to new heights. Key responsibilities – Account management and new business across southern food service wholesale and end-user customers. Strategically planning your attack and getting out there to make it happen. Manage and coach your own direct report. Scaling new opportunities and developing relationships. What do they need from you? – Located in Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire or Wiltshire. The patch is M4 Corridor down (London not included). Based as close to Southampton as possible! Experience and knowledge within the food service channel – wholesale is essential. Ambition, energy, drive to succeed in developing new business. Worked as a chef/sold to them is desirable. Entrepreneurial flair, inquisitive nature and JFDI attitude!
