I\’m currently working with a leading care home provider who are looking to recruit an ambitious planner to join their team. The company has gone from strength to strength in recent years and has a number of sites which you will be working on while supporting the planning director.

Salary up to £50k plus fantastic bonus scheme this is your chance to work for a UK industry leader.

You will be a town planner with 2-5 years post-graduation experience in developer, council, or planning consultancy.

Responsibilities:

As a senior planner, you will have a central role in supervising and orchestrating planning and development initiatives throughout the UK. Your duties encompass:

• Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic development objectives.
• Formulating and presenting planning applications, with ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.
• Assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues.
• Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified and also MRTPI
• Currently working for a planning consultancy or residential developer/ house developer experience in strategic land
• Detailed experience in dealing with residential planning applications and appeals.
• Bright, ambitious and determined to succeed.
