We are looking for a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef and we are working with a leading Contract Catering company for Private Education site in Nottingham, this operation caters for both daily feeding as well as boarders. This is primarily a Monday to Friday role but some weekends will be required and shifts are mainly day time with latest finish at 7pm
The Sous/Senior Sous Chef will support the Head Chef and lead a kitchen team of around 8-10 so will need good management skills and communication skills. You will be working on a 3 weekly rotating menu and ensure all food prepared and presented to the required high standards
The kitchen will cater for around 1400-1500 meals per day for both students and staff, there will also be hospitality events and functions as required. The Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef will need experience in cooking for large numbers on a daily basis
This Sous / Senior Sous Chef role will suit a candidate with either Large Volume Education Experience of large scale hotel banqueting experience. You will have a solid work history and been stable in previous roles.
