Play a crucial role in the clinical governance systems

Lead specific programmes as agreed with the Speciality Lead and the Deputy Director of Nursing for the Clinical Service Unit (CSU), in order to achieve a high level of compliance with National Strategies and targets relevant to your clinical specialities.

Represent the service nationally, regionally and locally working collaboratively with all stakeholders including the Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Clinical Networks and Senate, NHS England.

Development and monitoring of training and education to develop senior nursing and multi-professional staff knowledge and skills to enhance the quality of the service user experience.
You should be a registered nurse with senior leadership experience who is passionate about high quality patient care. You should have experience of clinical governance frameworks and service improvement projects. You will be expected to be based at Bradford Royal Infirmary but may be asked to work from other clinical sites. You will be expected to work autonomously as a senior nurse as part of the Specialist Medicine Clinical Services Unit alongside fellow Matrons and reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Nursing.
