We are currently working with an amazing local organisation who are looking to recruit a Shared Services Manager on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in shaping their financial operations and driving continuous improvement. This is a mainly remote role – with 1 day per week based in the Leeds office.
As the Shared Services Manager, you will oversee the service delivery across Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, managing teams responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash & Billing. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Direct and manage the Shared Services finance team, including Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Legal Debt Recovery, and Cash & Billing.
- Process Improvement and transaction oversight.
- Systems Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial systems.
- Risk Management: Design and operating financial internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial information
- Support: Provide advice and support to the trust community and trust staff.
About You: You will be someone who has extensive experience in finance operations or shared service management, with a strong understanding of efficient financial processes and systems. The proven ability to manage a team, use problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail are key you have knowledge of SAP, this would also be useful.
