A highly successful international engineering group, with businesses across the UK and Europe are working with Hays on an exclusive basis to recruit a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Your new role
The group has an excellent track record for growth, organically and by acquisition, and is looking to improve cost management and profitable growth across the group. To drive this they are looking to recruit a talented, technically strong and commercially focussed finance professional to lead FP&A.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will work closely with the Finance Director, Board & SMT, drill down on key business drivers, costs, analysis and reporting. They will focus on business process improvement to enhance cost reduction and consistency across the group.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will review and drive improvement and consistency in budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and business planning. Through data management, analysis, modelling and business partnering operational and financial stakeholders, they will establish and drive cost-reduction performance initiatives and profitable market growth.
What you'll need to succeed
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be a Qualified Accountant, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA with strong technical accounting knowledge and business acumen within an international multi-site business.
They will have strong investigative, data management, reporting, modelling and IT skills, including Excel to an advanced level, as well as experience of a reporting tool.
They will be a strong communicator, able to present and influence at all levels, in an international environment.
They will be a “hands on” confident self-starter who performs well in fast-moving and changing business environments.
What you'll get in return
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be employed on a Fixed Term Contract basis and offered a salary in the region of £80,000 to £90,000 plus bonus & benefits.
The business works on a hybrid basis. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be expected to travel within the role on a monthly/quarterly basis and the requirement for this will be more initially whilst they establish the role.
