Assistant Contract Manager
Location: Merton & Sutton, London
Salary: £40,000
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

About the role

Are you an experienced Supervisor/Assistant Contract Manager within the Grounds Maintenance sector, seeking a new opportunity that promises career growth, a supporting working atmosphere, and the chance to leverage established client relationships and stable projects?

Working with the UK's leading Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping provider, we are in search of an Assistant Contract Manager to support with leading a large contract based in the boroughs of Merton & Sutton. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for working alongside the Contract Manager to support with and oversee the day-to-day operations of the contract, ensuring contract performance, successful delivery of contract objectives, fostering client relationships, effective people management, health & safety compliance and optimal financial performance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as part of a supervisory or management team in the grounds maintenance, landscaping or construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Grounds Maintenance contracts.
  • Adept at navigating complex situations and conveying information clearly, ensuring effective teamwork and client satisfaction.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing a medium to large team.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
