The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
In this varied role, you’ll work alongside the Hire Controllers to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all hire transactions and administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Working Monday to Friday hours you’ll be delivering great service to customers as well as ensuring timely & accurate completion of all Hire Administration activities. This includes chasing any outstanding chargeable invoices and outstanding equipment to maximise profitable hires and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide second line contact for customers while delivering excellent customer service through the development of good relationships
- Responding to customer requests and queries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with and support effectively the operations team to ensure equipment is despatched and returned correctly.
- Notify customers of equipment not returned at FOH both verbally and in writing, and raise subsequent invoices for loss charges
- Raise all chargeable invoices (CI) paperwork, notifying both external sales and key customers, raise invoice to customer for the relevant charges
- Process all administrative tasks to IT systems and paperwork relating to hires, off-hires, suspensions and breakdowns in accordance with customer requirements
- Maintain knowledge of the division’s equipment for hire and sale

- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent computer literacy – MS Office/Outlook skills
- Knowledge of hire industry/construction advantageous
- Geographical knowledge of the UK would be helpful
