The Local Highway Officer role is based in the Highway Maintenance Service and provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to join our highways team.
The role is to identify maintenance repairs and improvements, dealing with customer correspondence from Parish Councils and members of the public. You will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written and be able to build relationships with customers, elected members, businesses, partner organisations and other stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who will use their initiative, seek opportunities for knowledge sharing and be able to work as part of a busy team whilst managing their own workload, preferably with experience of highway maintenance.
