Marine Sales Administrator – Engineering – Croydon – up to £35,000 Hello Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting a Marine Sales Administrator for a international engineering firm based in Croydon, Surrey. Core responsibilities Communicate with internal/external customers i.e. Sales managers / Service engineers and end customers on a daily basis via phone, and e-mail. Analyse incoming requests, identify anomalies and respond to customer communications with the relevant information on a timely basis. Address customer questions, issues and needs based on the initial request, ensuring that specific customer requirements and product features are clarified and understood. Prepare and check initial quotations in line with discount policies and Sales Manager Guidence, ensuring that all part numbers, quantities etc. are correctly captured. Submit quotations to customers, ensuring the relavent Sales Manager is able to follow up on these, as needed. Process customer purchase orders in our local ERP system. Effectively communicate changes to dispatch/warehouse regarding customer orders. Prepare customer requested shipping documents. Prepare presentations, collate drawings, technical material to support quotations. Process Sales Returns & Credits as appropriate. Support customers with updates on existing orders requests. Collate and understand risk assessment information, complete the Master Check List for orders as required. Collaborate with and assist others and to contribute to the success of the sales & service teams as a whole. To comunicate with Sales managers, Service engineers and other Team members to ensure they are informed of project relavent information. Seek ways to streamline and improve best operating practice for the benefit of internal and external stakeholders. To review quotations created within the Sales admin team to ensure cost and price information is correct, before the offer is released. Professional Experience & Education Experienced in Sales administrion with technical or engineering product. Experience with shipping within the UK and Europe including Ireland (North and South is required). Possesses first-rate customer service skills and experience. IT literate and possesses ERP systems experience, ideally Navision or SAP. Some experience with dealing with Ministry of Defence products would be beneficial. A self-starter who uses their initiative with a can-do attitude. A team player who can work in a key role within the onsite marine team supporting the Sales Managers/FSE who work remotely. Package Details:- Permanent full-time contract 5-day week, Mon – Thur 08:30-16:30, Fri 08:30 – 15:30 (36.5 hour working week). £33k – £35k (dependent on experience).
