Tool Designer

Mydas Recruitment are experts in the sourcing and supply of Engineers to leading organisations.

Due to continued growth, our client, a multinational manufacturing organisation, based in Belfast, have a requirement for a tool designer to work with multifunctional teams throughout the organisation, to ensure that products are delivered to meet costs, quality & schedule.

Candidates should have 3+ years experience of experience of:

• Catia V5 / 6
• jigs, fixtures & fittings
• Design of tooling fixtures
• Design engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Catia or similar package
• Experience of electrical design engineering would be advantageous
• Creating 2 & 3 D models
• The role will involve shop floor support / Design liaison.
• Candidates should have strong decision making and problem solving abilities
