About the Role
As a Cage Wash Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of animal housing equipment in compliance with the highest standards of hygiene and welfare. This role is critical to supporting the health and wellbeing of research animals, contributing to vital scientific advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cage washing machines and other sterilizing equipment
- Handle, clean, and sanitize animal cages, water bottles, and associated equipment
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies
- Follow strict protocols to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with animal care staff to provide a clean and safe environment for animals
- Maintain accurate records of tasks and procedures
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
