Location: On-site/Hybrid – Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £41600 – £65000 per annum

A leading engineering company in Witney is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join their growing team. The company specialises in high-precision machined tooling for the motorsport, automotive, and aerospace industries.

Role Overview

You will create and optimise CNC programs, mainly for 5-axis CMS machines, based on technical drawings and CAD data. You will work on composite tooling and pattern parts, maintaining high standards of accuracy and finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine CNC programs for high-precision machining
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
• Operate 5-axis machines and ensure quality of output
• Work on composite tooling and pattern projects
• Support continuous improvement in machining processes

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC programming and machining
• Experience with 5-axis milling preferred
• Familiarity with CATIA V5 is an advantage
• Good understanding of CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately
• Background in motorsport, automotive, or aerospace sectors is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible start and finish between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Night shift option available
