Amida is currently recruiting for a Design Lead / Senior Design Manager for a leading principal contractor in Central London. The company has recently been awarded major schemes across London, including residential, commercial, and public realm buildings, involving complex cut and carve and high-profile new build developments. Candidates should have extensive experience delivering schemes valued at over £100M.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving all design-related project outcomes.
  • Providing technical expertise in design management and acting as the focal point for all technical design matters on projects.
  • Collaborating with the project commercial manager to produce project-specific designer agreements, clearly defining the scope of works and design responsibilities.
  • Liaising with the project planner to develop, agree upon, and manage a realistic design programme to meet procurement and construction requirements.
