Program Manager

Discover International has partnered with a global business successfully delivering automation solutions for 30+ years to various industries.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative automated machinery projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver project portfolio (range £20-£30 million).
• Define key project milestones and allocate sufficient resources.
• Coordinate technical departments to ensure all aspects of the project are under control.
• Schedule and supervise shipping, commissioning, and installation, including on-site management at customer premises.
• Maintain up-to-date project plans and documents.
• Drive continuous improvement activities.
• Manage project changes impacting scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Project management tools, e.g., MS Project.

Required/Desirable skills:

• 10+ years of strong project management experience in Automation Equipment Manufacturing, Robotics, or High-tech Machinery building environment.
• Proven track record of independent, successful project delivery of high-value £20mil+ projects.
• Understanding of capital equipment engineering systems, an advantage if coming from industrial automation machinery.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with personal drive and motivation.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels within the team, wider business, and suppliers.
