An exciting British company in the vehicle manufacturing sector are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Electrician to join their team, you will be responsible for working independently and delivering work to the highest standards, ensuring customer specifications are met within set timeframes. The role involves a combination of manufacturing, fitting, and maintaining vehicle electrical systems, often working at various levels, including under vehicles and on vehicle chassis. Key Responsibilities: Operate air-powered and electrically operated hand tools proficiently. Interpret and work from engineering and electrical drawings. Manufacture and install vehicle wiring looms to precise specifications. Wire and fit Blue Light systems, including CCTV installations. Perform electrical tasks on vehicle chassis and associated equipment. Support other workshop departments, both on and off-site, as needed, utilizing a flexible skillset. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Electrician. Strong ability to work autonomously and with attention to detail. Expertise in manufacturing and fitting vehicle electrical systems. Flexibility to assist with other workshop tasks when required. A thorough understanding of Health and Safety policies.
