Hays finance are partnering with a leading organisation in the automotive trade, currently undergoing an exciting restructure. As part of this transformation, we are looking to add a newly created role of Financial Controller to their team.
Your new role
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the finance team, driving financial strategy, implementing robust financial controls, and assisting the Finance Director with annual audits. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the finance team, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
- Assist the Finance Director with the preparation and execution of annual audits.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified finance professional (e., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in the automotive industry or strong knowledge of automotive ERP systems.
- Demonstrated line management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
