Maintenance Manager Castleford £58,000 plus 10% bonus Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 5:00, Friday 8:30 to 4:00 Salary sacrifice car scheme, 25 days holiday plus 8 stats, life assurance x3 salary, match pension up to 7%, discounted products Maintenance Manager The Role You will report to the Site Engineering Manager and be responsible for a team of Maintenance Engineers covering a 4 shift pattern. You will be tasked with engaging and developing the existing team, improving OEE and implementation of a new PPM schedule. Overall responsibilities will include Ensure Health & Safety compliance of all assets within the Factory. Develop and manage the Engineering resource engaging in recruitment, performance management and succession planning. Ownership of Engineering KPIs, including: MTBF, MTTR, PPM, and Work Order Completion, RCA Completion. Identify and eradicate long terms issues as well as resolving all breakdowns and speed loss Implementation of a PPM schedule and ensure this is maintained Provide support on major issues within the factory Develop a skills matrix for your team and deliver training in continuous improvement tools Managed the workload of your team and ensure standards are maintained across your department. Demonstrate a return on investment for projects and show correlation between performance and planned asset care Provide analysis on all operational areas affecting engineering performance. Support departments in the delivery of trials and new installations. Build project teams for rapid improvements and secure appropriate resource to deliver Spares management to ensure downtime is minimised PUWER compliance and management of method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work on all manufacturing assets. Maintenance Manager The Candidate You will have either supervisory or management experience within an FMCG / Food Production environment. You will also have the following skills, experiences and attributes Ideally you will have an Engineering Degree but this is not essential and other qualifications will be considered Knowledge of / qualifications in lean and continuous improvement would be highly beneficial Experience of implementing a PPM Schedule would be beneficial Experience of training and develop teams including creating skills matrix would be highly beneficial Experience of working within the food or drinks industry would be highly beneficial Experience with machinery such as Krones, OCME, Zambelli and Sonic Software engineering with training in a range of technical systems would be a distinct advantage 5 years experience in an engineering manufacturing environment Experience of planning maintenance activities Experience of continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques.
