BDS Recruitment are recruiting for a Housing Compliance Officer to work with a well-known housing association based in the West London area. We are looking for a confident and experienced candidate to be the first point of escalation regarding Fire Risk Assessments, gas capping and tenancy audits. If you have a passion for customer experience, have a strong grasp on housing/ property management and regulations this could be the role for you! The main duties include but are not limited too; * The successful completion of welfare visits to gas capped cases * Supporting with visiting tenants when required * Attending viewings for new properties and attending inspections of void properties. * Responsible for the reduction of outstanding Actions in regard to Fire Risk Assessments in line with targets set. * Act as the point of escalation and contact for customer queries (Rents, ASB, Repairs and Lettings) * Responsible for inspections of homes & estates The ideal candidate will have; * Experience of the Social Housing Sector and delivery of Core Housing Services (including Repairs and Housing Management) * Experience of working with vulnerable customers with additional support needs * Understanding of repairs management including an understanding of health and safety, fire safety and other property standards legislation. * Adept at using key applications and able to interrogate systems and understand data and insight and turn this into action Hours; Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm This is a 6-month contract initially- there is potential for this to extend This is an office-based role in W6 – but with travel around West London as and when needed You will need to be a driver – access to a vehicle is not essential as a pool car is available Paye rate; £18.85ph PAYE- £23.35ph UMB Apply now for immediate consideration
