Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant or Finance Manager looking to join a small and developed team within a supportive and positive environment? The role offers training and long term development and would suit someone from either practice or industry. This established department has created the role to ensure the smooth running of the department, to work hands on alongside the current Head of Department with a plan to supporting the team once up to speed. The role will progress into Head of Department. Responsibilities Monthly management accounts , quarterly VAT & supporting with the annual budget and inyear forecasts Finance and process systems, process & system improvement. Develop internal control procedures for main and specialist transactions such as student fees, grants & bursaries. Supervising the team of four and supporting them, once up to speed with the role.
