What the Job Involves

The role requires undertaking specialist client electrical and building services engineering tasks. You will report to the Mechanical & Electrical & Compliance Manager and manage up to two staff members, holding contract management responsibilities for projects exceeding £2m. Core tasks include acting as an advisor for electrical installations, managing mechanical and electrical contracts, and deputizing when necessary. Responsibilities cover the oversight and administration of diverse services including CCTV, lifts, fire alarms, and district heating systems. You will provide technical advice, prepare specifications, manage inspections, and validate contract payments. The position requires keeping abreast of industry legislation and standards, offering professional procurement advice, and engaging in tenant meetings. You may also be required to work evenings and weekends to meet service demands and provide coverage during staff absences.
