Geophysicist – Offshore Wind – Outside of IR35Scope of Work: Kent is looking to hire a Geophysicist on a 0-hour contract, the suitable candidate can be based remotely or in any of our UK offices. The successful candidate must have offshore wind experience. Key Deliverables:
- Ground modelling – all tasks associated with ground modelling import of geo data to interpretation software, QA of data, integrated seismic and geotechnical interpretation/ mapping, unitization, depth conversion etc.
- Geological features and geohazards mapping boulder picking, faults, seismic anomalies, shallow gas, seabed features, seabed mobility, scour, liquefaction, seismicity, hard and softs soils etc.
- Anthropogenic constraints and risk mapping
- Report writing including GIS mapping and products.
- Geophysical survey scope and design
- QI and seismic inversion products
- Data conversions, scripts, coding, if needed
