Wise Employment are recruiting for a Technical Coordinator to work for an “Employer of Choice” fantastic company within a well-established and highly reputable company within the West Midlands (Coleshill). This is a permanent, site based role working full time Monday to Friday. Purpose of the role: This role of Technical Coordinator will see you responsible for the successful implementation of all technical superstructure tasks such as the production and coordination of accurate and detailed construction drawings throughout the life cycle of evolving projects. You will also need to communicate and support all regional and group departments to ensure achievement of business goals. Job description: As a Technical Coordinator you will be responsible for; Negotiating effectively with a wide range of organisations Undertake key functions of the Principal Designer role Complete all necessary Health, Safety and Environmental documents in line with company policies Coordinate consultants or personally produce at times, working drawings and liaise with key suppliers to provide information for tenders, construction and sales packs Person specification BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction or equivalent Extensive experience within a technical role is required preferably within a housing or consultancy based role You will need to have proven ability in an Architectural Technologist role of delivering design for projects on time, within budget and also quality standards resulting in high customer satisfaction results Good level of experience using AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel and Word Strong commercial acumen, time management skills and organisation skills along with the ability to multitask, work under pressure and make decisions within authority You will need to have strong mathematical skills and be able to design and interpret designs and technical demands of others You will need to be conversant with current building regulations, procedures, construction methods, material costs and general market conditions in relation to Company products Attend regional sites to resolve technical and construction related problems If you feel you’re right for this role, then we would like to hear from you so please apply via the job board or call Wise Employment Plymouth JBRP1_UKTJ
