Belmont Recruitment are looking to speak with prison cleared RGN\’s to work within a Category B Male Prison in Bootle, Liverpool, on a rolling contract basis. To be considered for this position you must have current/in date prison clearance. The role will include working as part of the Primary Care team within the prison, providing high standard care to the in-patients. You will need to be able to think on your feet and handle situations under pressure. Key Responsibilities * Carry out written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations. * Work with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality. * Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines. * To maintain clear and accurate records of discussions, assessments made, interventions, treatment and medicines delivered in accordance with Prison guidelines. * Be constantly alert to changes in patients\’ conditions and the implications in terms of care. * Provide treatment and care for prisoners with enduring mental health needs. Pay rates for this post; * Weekdays – £29.11 * Saturday/Sunday – £30.38 We also have other various mental health block bookings in the area.
