Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a fast-growing contractor that has seen 40% growth this year, with a strong pipeline in place to continue that momentum into next year. The business is on a clear upward trajectory and is now looking to bring in an Assistant or Project Quantity Surveyor, depending on experience, to support continued expansion. The role will focus on managing a high volume of smaller projects rather than one large package, typically valued between £200k – £300k within the Fire Protection, Construction & Refurbishment, Electrical Drainage & Environmental Services sectors. Day-to-day duties will include preparing valuations, managing variations, overseeing remedials, and scheduling rates. Initially, you’ll work alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor for 2–3 months, gaining full oversight of the processes and systems. From there, you’ll move into managing your own frameworks, working closely with a PM and support team.
