Class 1 Day Driver

Recruiting HGV Drivers (C+E Licence) for our client in Lancashire we can offer day work and occasional nights out for those who want them. Trailers can be a combination of curtain siders and fridges.

The Job

Start times vary between 0400 and 1400. You will not be required to cover this whole start window, we can allocate start times based on your preference. You will be delivering ambient and chilled goods mostly to RDCs around the UK. Drivers may be required on occasion to help unload the trailer and bring back empty cages/trollies.

The Driver

HGV Drivers applying for this job will need to have held their Class 1 (C+E) Licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 minor points for insurance purposes.

Good knowledge of WTD is essential as some routes may require extended driving time.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

Days £15.50

Nights £16.50

Saturday £18.00

Sunday £19.00

Night Out £25

Holiday pay is accrued separately to the rates listed above but can be added to your hourly rate upon request.
