They specialise in providing efficient, innovative, and sustainable solutions for commercial office spaces, data centres, and mission-critical environments. Their projects include large-scale commercial offices in Central London and cutting-edge data centres across the UK.
The Role:
They are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in London. In this role, you will lead the electrical design process for a variety of complex commercial and data centre projects, ensuring innovative, efficient, and sustainable designs. As a senior team member, you will also mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design process for major commercial and data centre projects from concept to completion
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications that meet client and industry standards
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Ensure all designs meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support their development
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and contractors
- Monitor project progress and ensure designs are delivered within budget and timeline constraints

- Large-scale commercial office developments in London

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in electrical design engineering, ideally within commercial offices or data centres
- Strong knowledge of relevant electrical standards and building regulations
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-specific tools
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is desirable
