Maintenance Engineer – Plymouth Up to £65,000 per annum (including shift allowance) Are you a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer with a knack for problem solving and a passion for continuous improvement? Do you thrive in a manufacturing environment and have a keen eye for maximising equipment performance? Look no further, as we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining all site plant and equipment, including but not limited to power presses, laser cutting, punch machines, automated production lines, and assembly lines. We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. Your main responsibilities will include problem solving and providing technical support to all teams in order to ensure smooth and efficient production. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, using your analytical skills to analyse downtime and implement solutions to reduce it. Our ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent professional qualification, with experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. You should have a strong understanding of maintenance techniques and procedures, as well as knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
