In this role you will not only build and optimise cutting-edge websites using the Full Site Editor and bespoke ACF Blocks but also oversee our hosting and proactive maintenance services ensuring every project remains secure, up-to-date and high-performing.
What You Will Be Doing as WordPress Web Developer
- Full Stack WordPress Development: Craft new sites from static designs created by our in-house designers, extend the Full Site Editor and create custom ACF Blocks.
- Hosting & Maintenance Management: Provision, monitor and troubleshoot our hosting environments; schedule backups, security scans and updates.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Analyse site performance and conversion data to continually improve our customers' websites with data-driven insights.
- Content Management: Populate developed sites and complete ongoing content management updates on our existing sites to ensure long-term SEO improvements for clients.
- Agency Management Platform: Collaborate on the development of our bespoke agency management platform (built in Laravel with Vue). No prior experience required just a hunger to learn a new stack and help evolve our in-house software.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement enhancements to code, workflows and client processes, championing best practices across the entire team.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with our in-house designers, videographers, marketers and account managers to turn briefs into engaging, on-brand digital experiences.
What We Are Looking for in a WordPress Web Developer
- Essential Experience: Demonstrable experience in a web-development role, with proven WordPress expertise (Full Site Editor & ACF Blocks).
- Technical Skills: Strong PHP, JavaScript and MySQL skills; Expert HTML5 & CSS3/Sass with a focus on semantic markup using the BEM methodology; Familiarity with Git, npm, Composer and local development environments.
- Mindset: A self-starter who is always keen to learn new tools, experiment with emerging technologies and push themselves to deliver better results for our customers. An excellent communicator, able to explain technical concepts and datasets in clear, client-friendly terms.

- Exposure to Laravel, Vue or React development
- Experience animating interfaces with GSAP
