Job Description Position: EDS Test Engineer Sector: EV & Electrical Location: Milton Keynes Contract Outside IR35 *Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, ongoing and valid eligibility to work full-time in the UK and travel within the EU.* Job Description To work as part of a test team in the support of the Electrical & Electronic (EE) EDS Test with: Electrical function, performance and reliability tests relating to the complete EDS system including CAN architecture / network testing. Harness Terminal Voltage Harness Body Earth Capacity Charging System Fusible Link Lead concern identification to root cause investigation including countermeasure recommendation. Support design departments to ensure the quality of component testing Overall vehicle test technical coordination role where required (project leader) Qualifications / Skills needed Test/investigation reports, test plan, and test method Have working knowledge of the Clients’ electrical architecture Understand electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices Understanding of the fundamentals electromagnetics Understanding of component and vehicle EMC test requirements Have experience risk assessment of electrical design and generation of test plans
