Experience of selling cost-effective distribution, transport and/or warehousing solutions is a ‘must have’ for this role in the Manchester area.An amazing opportunity has presented itself for an experienced and successful player in the supply chain, business development field. You will be joining a specialist logistics service provider that has an aggressive programme to gain additional business across the UK. Our client understands the pressures faced by manufacturers as well as major retailers and food-service providers … and so must you! You will be selling the services of a well-developed logistics network that provides a more cost-effective alternative to most other 3PLs, so it is a given that you will already have an established professional network within the industry to approach. Key Responsibilities: * Creating and maintaining a network of contacts to ensure a constant flow of leads for your new business pipeline. *Taking sales opportunities through from qualification to ‘on-boarding’ the new business.*Drive improvements across the sales process.*Provide guidance and coaching to more junior members of the regional team.
