If you have a passion for helping students excel in their studies, this flexible role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on their academic success. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional one-on-one tutoring sessions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject matter. Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND), including those with PMLD or behavioural challenges Develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the national curriculum and cater to the unique learning needs of each student. Assess and regularly monitor the progress of your students, adjusting your teaching methods to maximise their learning outcomes. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel. Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student progress and address any concerns. Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.Job Requirements: Qualified Teachers with either QTS/QTLS/PGCE (Primary, Functional Skills, EYFS, PMLD, or equivalent), Subject Specialism or extensive tuition experience supporting with English, Maths and/or Science Experienced Tutors in any subject area Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of working with children/young people with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH) A desire to make a difference by delivering tailored, personalised tuition in students\’ homes. Experience working with the National Curriculum. Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student. Tutoring involves yourself working in a home setting; this may be the family home or a residential setting for LAC.
