Head of Engineering London Hybrid -2 days in office Tech stack -JavaScript /Typescript Salary bracket £100-120k Role Overview: As the Head of Engineering you will be a pivotal in leading the organisations’ strategic direction, responsible for leading the technology strategy and driving innovation to support their growth and expansion in their industry. You will oversee all aspects of technology development including implementation of a new platform, driving the businesses re-architecture of the platform which in turn with help with expansion both in the UK and globally. As the Head of Engineering you should have a background of working in the SaaS industries, either for a fast paced start up business or for a digital or media agency. Scope of the role includes: Strong technical understanding and deep knowledge of JavaScript /Typescript and related frameworks Frameworks: Node.js /React Some experience of no-sql databases, including MongoDB and native hosting including AWS. A good understanding of integration with multiple external API’s and associated ETL processes and system. Strong experience of data-driven architecture Experience of digital or in-store retail media Experience of leading multiple squads Experience delivery Solution Architecture in a web-based SaaS platform ideally one that is data drive in the B2B or B2C space. No expectation to be hands on although some coding reviews as and when applicable. This role has a very extensive and wide scope, and is an instrumental position as part of the technology leadership team in the organisation.
