p strong u Technical Writer, London/Hybrid, 3 months, £400/day (Inside IR35) /u /strong /p br Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match. br p One of my leading clients, a digital consultancy are currently looking to hire a Technical writer to join an end client of their in the health care space for an initial 3 month contract. /p p br /p p strong Responsibilities: /strong /p p Proactively work with product teams and enginering teams to understand the services, products and processes that are being offered to developers, including: /p p Design principles and contribution opportunities /p p APIs, data models, micro-frontends and SDKs /p p On-boarding, usage and troubleshooting services /p p Development processes, constraints and guidance /p p Independently use/test platform services and assets to gain real working knowledge of how they work /p p Efficiently write/edit documentation for developers to serve the entire lifecycle of platform usage including: /p p Quick start / tutorials for prioritised developer jobs to be done /p p Developer how to guides for on-boarding, platform tool usage and development /p p Developer guides for contributing and using platform assets /p p Continuously improve dev ex assets based on testing and feedback with users /p p Work with product and engineering teams to improve service offerings /p p Optionally – develop developer experience tools to complement guides and tutorials /p p strong Skills required: /strong /p p Strong writing skills (can be AI assisted) – must be able to produce good draft material very fast /p ul li Knowledge and past experience of working on automated tech documentation generation tools like Backstage and their integration with Github, Google GCS; and knowledge of Confluence templates for piecing together appropriate documentation. /li /ul
