Macildowie Finance is supporting an leading brand in their search for a Management Accountant. Working from their offices in Alfreton, Derbyshire, you'll be crucial to the success of the Finance department over the next few years as the business begins its period of ambitious growth, offering you massive opportunity to progress within!
The Role
As Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in the finance team, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing stock valuation, aging, and provisions, ensuring accurate reporting and actionable recommendations.
- Development and preparation of subsidiary management accounts and assisting in group consolidation across multiple entities.
- Conducting gross margin analysis and ensuring accuracy in monthly reconciliations.
- Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system, streamlining processes and reporting.
- Assist with group internal and external audits.
- Collaborating with internal departments such as marketing, buying, and sales to enhance financial performance.
- Delivering commercial finance projects to support strategic growth initiatives such as international expansion
What We're Looking For…
- Fully qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Strong MS Excel skills (intermediate/advanced).
- Proven experience with ERP systems and financial reporting in high-volume environments.
- Demonstrable ability to manage stock reporting and margin analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration
