Transport & Warehouse Manager Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport & Warehouse Manager to join a specialist builders merchant based in Andover. Our client is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join a growing business who pride themselves on providing an unparalleled service to all their customers. Responsibilities as a Transport & Warehouse Manager: – Ensuring all routing is completed in a timely and efficient manner. – Ensure that all customer orders are processed and dispatched to meet time frames – Responsible for all H&S within the warehouse – Planning and management of all drivers – Provide excellent support and build key supplier relationships – Running and attending team meetings – Ensuring all company vehicles are loaded in a safe and tidy manner – Planning and co-ordination of all inventory management activities Requirments: – Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role – Proven experience of improving operations in terms of costs, material handling, pick accuracy and delivery – People management skills – In depth knowledge of supply chain management – Strong communication and leadership skills The Role: – £30,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience – Monday – Friday, 1pm – 10pm – 22 days holiday, increasing with long service – Access to rewards portal, including cycle to work scheme, discounted shopping and more – Staff discount on products If you are interes…
