MMP Consultancy currently has an opportunity for a Property Surveyor (Damp & Mould) to join a Local Authority in East London. Title: Property Surveyor (Damp & Mould) Rate: £350 Per Day Location: East London Job Purpose: To be responsible for a specific work stream within the Asset Management team, providing a professional housing surveying service for the repair, maintenance, improvement and re-servicing of council owned, managed and leased stock in accordance with our clients policies and procedures, providing an effective responsive repair, planned maintenance and project management service for the organisation. Key Accountabilities: The post holder reports to the either the Major Works & Voids Manager or the Disrepair & Special Projects Manager. The post holder, depending on the team speciality, will be responsible for special projects, disrepair, estate improvement, asbestos management and minor works OR reactive and planned repairs, voids and fire damage. The post holder will take the lead in areas for which the team is responsible and will include coaching other members of the team. The post holder may be required to work evenings, weekends and occasional public holidays, in order to ensure consultation and service requirements are met.
