Geography Teacher Tradewind recruitment are working with an outstanding secondary school based in Slough who are currently looking for a Geography teacher. School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025. School are willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person. This position is full time but school are open to part time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Salary will match London Fringe MPS/UPS. School has available parking spaces. Geography Teacher : Offer strong teacher subject and pedagogical knowledge. Engage in helping students develop knowledge of Geography Enable life-long skill development and practical skill application Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment, while challenging students to reach their full potential Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life School aim to create global citizens equipped to assess received opinion and make independent judgements. Pupils who are aware of the past, present, and future of the world around them. In geography they are investigating issues affecting the world and people’s lives, now and in the future. They are given the tools to make sense of a complex and dynamically changing world, at all different scales.
