They are looking to strengthen their team by hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on one of their upcoming projects in Birmingham. project: Student Accomodation project in £30m The company specializes in the construction of student accommodation, residential developments with values up to £50m. Key Responsibilities * Establish and develop productive and professional working relationships with all stakeholders, including members of the Employer’s team and the supply chain. * Promote the correct behaviors and ensure everyone is treated with dignity and respect. * Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract and its components, ensuring an accurate project business plan is produced. This includes identifying and highlighting all known risks and opportunities requiring management throughout the project. * Take an active lead in the control and administration of vetting subcontractors. * Be involved at every stage of the project to monitor and maintain accurate cash flow and turnover forecasts. You will bring your experience of regularly reporting on project performance and working collaboratively with other site based construction professionals to ensure project success.
