Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with Severfield, the largest specialist structural steelwork Group in the UK, with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team in the group’s Nuclear and Infrastructure division, working for a business which prides itself on quality and innovation, with unrivalled expertise in critical infrastructure projects. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on high value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients which service the defence, nuclear, oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for: Delivery, as part of a team, of successful commercial outcomes of key nuclear and defence projects Commercial responsibilities from contract award through to completion and final account Managing variations and changes with customers Working as part of an experienced commercial team Developing relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes The Quantity Surveyor will need: Previous experienceworking as a QS or Assistant QS Construction industry experience in a commercial role Experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts Good communication skills with the ability to influence An understanding …
