As Head of Compliance / Company Secretary, you will be responsible for all aspects of legal, compliance and Company Secretarial matters, and be a key point of support for the Group Board and Executive Team.
Your day to day:
- Dealing with all Company Secretarial matters for the Group, including maintaining statutory registers and filing documents at Companies House
- Attend the AGM, Group Board and Executive Team meetings and take minutes
- All aspects of insurance including renewal, claims reporting and follow up
- All aspects of compliance and risk management
- Act as the Data Protection Officer and ensure compliance with GDPR and deal with any related requests and issues
- Key point of contact on legal matters including licensing, trademarks, NDAs
- Maintain contact with the Company’s Registrars (shares listed on Aquis)
Who are we looking for?
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be comfortable with dealing with all aspects of a compliance and Company Secretarial role, together with a good understanding of company law.
A structured and organised approach to ensure all legal and compliance matters are completed on a timely basis.
Confident in dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
A suitable professional qualification to undertake this role.
