ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high school in Oldham, Greater Manchester who are looking for a Qualified SEN Level 3 TA to join their team. The school is for children in KS3 (aged 13-15 years old) with significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Students attending may have witnessed developmental trauma, and the centre focussing on a tailored approach to learning. The team are looking for someone to join them that can evident previous experience in a similar setting and that are strong and confident delivering the KS3 curriculum. The school are looking for someone who is confident, dedicated and excels in behaviour management. The role will consist of: Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs) Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed Academic support of a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting the teacher The Ideal Candidate: Level 3 TA qualified or equivalent Knowledge and experience teaching KS3 mainstream curriculum Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis Position Details: Location – Oldham, Greater Manchester Position – Level 3 Teaching Assistant Contract Type – Temporary (with possible permanent opportunities) Paid to scale Hours – 8.30-4.00pm (Term Time only) Monday – Friday Start Date – ASAP If this role appeals to you, please apply now.
